Madeline matched with Matthew on a dating app. After getting high praise from a friend who was engaged to Matthew’s fraternity brother, Madeline decided to give Matthew a chance. Though he had to wait for the perfect moment to retrieve the ring, Matthew successfully proposed in their kitchen after a walk around the neighborhood.
Matthew did have a few hints from Madeline to help with the ring selection, but he chose it all by himself. “He did an excellent job!” Madeline gushes. “I love the little diamonds underneath because I feel like it’s just for me!”
After compiling a list of Indiana photographers, Madeline narrowed it down to three, which included Jasmine Norris Photography. “Jasmine was so on it!” Madeline raves. “She seemed like she had a plan for every scenario!”
Though Madeline thought about elopement in the age of COVID, she couldn’t part with the idea of saying “I do” in front of all their friends and family. Planning is going well so far, despite Madeline fearing she’s forgetting something. “I bought one of those books for brides with a timeline and am trying to follow it and not get behind,” Madeline explains. “I am trying to remain hopeful that all things will fall into place, but worse case we go back to the plan to elope!”
