A Rustic & Modern Chicago Celebration: The Real Wedding of Sarah & John Gallagher

Despite living in San Diego, COVID drove Sarah and John to have their wedding where John grew up...literally. They decided to get married in the backyard of John’s childhood home in the suburbs of Chicago. Since they had to move their wedding across the country, Sarah and John found the perfect vendors twice. “I spent lots of nights on Instagram and Google, searching for vendors that I thought would capture our aesthetic and vision for the day perfectly,” Sarah explains.

 

What We Love

Sarah’s dad helped build elements of their wedding. “My dad built the arch that we stood under during the ceremony, and they now use it in their yard, so we get to see it and remember the day every time we are home,” Sarah gushes.
