This Beach E-Session Catches the Moment He Proposed: The Engagement of Mary and Conrad

Due to having mutual friends in high school, Mary and Conrad met during their senior year and decided to start dating one another. Years later, they visited Lake Michigan under the guise of a couple's photo session when Conrad was really using the moment to propose. "Conrad had organized for Johnny (the photographer) to take pictures of us in the evening. Johnny was positioning me for the photos with my fiancé behind me down on one knee. He captured such a special moment!" Mary raves.
 

"I helped pick out the ring! It is a thin, white gold band with a round cut diamond. There is a hidden halo around the diamond," Mary explains. "I love that the ring is simple and timeless!" We think the siple elegance looks beautiful with her flowy, beachy dress. It is the perfect style to be dressed up or dressed down!
 

Johnny, the one who was able to capture this special moment between the couple, is actually friends with Conrad. Mary gushes, "My fiancé and Johnny (the photographer) are friends! I’ve known Johnny since I first started dating Conrad." Since they are so close, it was easy for them to feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, which provided flawless photos!
 

The couple is going to have a longer engagement with planning not starting for a while. "Wedding planning isn’t going to start until summer 2023 as I am finishing up graduate school!" Mary shares. Since they are still in the beginning process of planning and not sure where they want their wedding to go, this gives them plenty of time to get all the fine details figured out.
