This Michigan Style Shoot is Filled with Elegant Blueberry and Wildflower Elements

After picking up blueberries, Olivia Allen, one of the photographers and planners for this shoot, was inspired to make a style shoot filled with the various colors of blueberries in all stages of ripeness. Since blueberry season had already started, the team needed to work quickly to ensure this shoot was able to be done while blueberries were still available. Their speedy collaboration yielded this fun shoot!
 

In addition to the blueberries, the color palette for this shoot was inspired by the wildflowers at the venue. And it wouldn't be complete without plenty of florals! Olivia gave Leah, the florist, full reign of the floral designs. Leah was even encouraged to incorporate the blueberry sprigs and the wildflowers within the florals. Olivia raves, "She is a floral genius, and I wanted her to be able to be as creative as possible. Her use of different textures and colors came together to make an effortlessly elegant and interesting bouquet and centerpieces." We love how the colorful berries mix seamlessly within the centerpieces! The blueberries on the table are another fun and unique touch to this shoot.
 

Speaking of that tablescape, there were some beautiful glassware rentals utilized. The print on the plates brings in an air of elegance to this style shoot. We love how colorful the candles are and how they mimic the colors of blueberries and wildflowers. The colors even tie back to the flowers inserted into the bride's hair! Another perfect touch to the tablescape is the brilliantly blue glassware that is striking among all the white surrounding them. All the little details work together to create a gorgeous setup!
 

The blueberries also inspired the dessert for this shoot. Instead of a classic cake, the team selected blueberry muffins to display! "We had blueberry muffins from Brookside Farms in Paw Paw, Michigan. They were moist and full of flavor. Not too sweet but just the right amount of buttery and flavorful," Olivia gushes. We wish we could've been there to enjoy them ourselves!
 

Last but not least, look at that blushing bride and dashing groom! We are obsessed with that beautiful gown. All the lace details with the stunning deep-V cut highlight the beauty of the bride! To elevate the look even more, the team used rhinestone boots and shimmery blush makeup. We love that they placed wildflowers in the bride's braided hair to bring in a touch of color! The groom also looks handsome in that navy suit. While he is a bit more casual than the bride, we think he fits the vibe well!
