Since they started dating on New Year's Eve and loved the idea of spending time celebrating with all their closest friends and family, Erica and Luke picked that as their wedding date. This choice inspired them to feature classic New Year's Eve colors, which when combined with their venue, the white, gold and black color palette turned into an elegant wedding scene. Their venue had major allure since Erica loves trees and they wanted an upscale industrial look to remind people of New York. This place had both, which made it perfect! The rest of their vendors came through recommendations from friends and family members. We think they had the best team to help them pull off this stunning and opulent wedding, which was a perfect way to enter the New Year!
Advice from the Couple
Erica and Luke share, "Make sure you have all hair and makeup done before the photographer arrives. Do not put others' schedules above your own–it hindered our time for photos and made the morning a little stressful. Wait to buy your dress if it's not for sure the one–just wait. You never know what God has planned and could bring the designer to you! Do your research! Utilize wedding Instagram accounts, websites and friends/family advice. Don't worry about being a 'copy cat' if it's a vibe or decor item that you love."
