2019 Style Shoot Design Contest Finalist: Ultra Modern Living Coral

Our 2019 Style Shoot Design Contest received a modern flair with this snappy styled shoot! Photographer Ashley Wentz used one of our preselected themes, Ultra Modern and the Pantone Color of the Year, Living Coral, and took it to the next level with a classical touch. We cannot wait to show you what this amazing team had to offer!

 

One difficulty Ashley cites was staying cohesive within the theme and not following the influence of the other popular style shoots. With touches of the unique coral balloon ring, the bride’s crown and of course, her stunning hair, this styled shoot stands out among the others!

 

The team knew they had to use the Pantone Color of the Year when designing the shoot’s color palette, but they flashed some originality by using mixed metals in their ring set to keep it classy. To stay on track with that, AAYS Event Rentals provided a variety of mixed metal place settings for the team to choose from. The deep greens on the stationery paired well with this variety to create a sense of a tropical escape for this wedding!

 

The bride’s hair sure steals the show in this shoot, but let’s take a moment to appreciate her dress. The sleek silhouette and the streamlined beadwork complement the modern theme, bringing in a simple yet elegant look.

 

Our mouths are watering over this cake--besides being an absolutely gorgeous work of art that goes along with the theme, it was hand-painted! Seconds, please!

 

Ashley says, “We chose the venue because the owner was interested in contributing to set planning and wanted us to get on the rooftop for some photos.” We love it when the whole team comes together to help coordinate and plan a shoot.
