The stars are shining bright in this submission to our 2020 Style Shoot Design Contest! Lisa Dood of Lisa Joy Photography wanted to inspire brides to live out their fairytale fantasies. She adds, “It also let us have a unicorn at the wedding!” Watch out for falling stars in this gorgeous starry night shoot!
How could anyone turn down an RSVP to this celebration with this galaxy-inspired stationery?
The team hosted this shoot in an outdoor field to inspire brides who want to share their nuptials under the stars. This gave room for lots of extra details! From the blue smoke bombs, towering candles and the constellation balloons, this team wasted no time packing creativity into this shoot’s atmosphere. And, of course, we love the unicorn!
The shoot’s ombre color scheme utilized multiple shades of black, deep blue and Classic Blue, the 2020 Pantone Color of the Year. “The look was meant to reflect the blue hour of the night sky,” Lisa notes. “We wanted it to feel like the bride was in the clouds with twinkly lights all around.”
We’re here for this bride living out her celestial Cinderella fantasy! The stunning movement of this BIANKA Bridal gown leaves us wanting more. Paired with a Classic Blue tulle sash, this look is beautifully elevated to another world. The model’s hair was kept down for a classic feel, crowned with a tiara for a modern, floral twist.
Cotton candy trees, blue trifle, gourmet, star-shaped sugar cookies, and a mirror galaxy cake decorate these dessert trays. Talk about a sweet tooth!
Nothing says elegance like Queen Ann’s Lace. This flower, used in shades of white and blue, was used to give the bride’s bouquet a fresh, natural look. Pops of hydrangeas and blue thistles round out this shoot’s flourishing florals.
