The Wedding Story of Hailey and Dustin Drost

Carri Fras |  July 5, 2017

We love how sweet it is when parents play matchmaker. When Hailey met her future father-in-law at the restaurant she worked at part-time, she almost didn't give her number to him when he insisted she would be a great match for his son. But, something drove her to do so (and good thing she did!). Dustin called the very next day and, astonishingly, discovered Hailey lived only five miles down the road. The following day, Hailey went on what she describes as her “last first date, ever.”

"Masculine Elegance" Style Shoot

Savannah Hope |  June 22, 2017

Many brides want to find a way to include their groom in the wedding planning process. Planner and designer Rhiannon Bosse, of Rhiannon Bosse Celebrations, wanted to create a style shoot that would show brides how effortless it can be to create décor that represents their femininity and their groom’s masculinity. She says, “My clients always ask me how they can involve their groom more, and I always suggest finding ways to do so through the décor because of the big aesthetic pay off. I also feel like, as a designer, it's my job to create things in new and unexpected ways, so this project was a chance to do just that.”

Sometimes eavesdropping can lead to a lifetime of happiness! AJ is well aware of this as, back when he and Taylor were juniors at Indiana University, he overheard Taylor talking about wanting to meet a tall guy, and he promptly introduced himself (yes, he fit the height requirement). Taylor says, “We hit it off immediately!”

Alyssa Ferguson |  June 5, 2017

It's true you may be saving money—however—you are creating and taking on so much more stress and work for yourself.
