We all know them. Those stunning weddings that, with so much as a glance, have the power to take your breath away. Sarah and Michael McAuliffe's wedding is certainly one of those. As you ooh and ahh over the fresh flowers, romantic outdoor setting and fine details, you can’t help but wish you had been a guest.

The Wedding Story of Breanne and Micah Wallace

Carri Fras |  July 12, 2017

Breanne and Micah met as early as high school, and it was on a family vacation to a place generations of Breanne’s family had been visiting that Micah proposed. “We went for a walk on the beach at sunset and he asked me then!” Breanne says. “ It was a perfect day!”

The Wedding Story of Carrie and Jake Reynolds

Savannah Hope |  May 17, 2017

Carrie and Jake had been dating for seven years before they tied the knot! This may seem like a long courtship, but they had started dating back in high school. Plus, it gave them more time to dream up the perfect wedding, of course!

In Love at the Lodge: An Inviting Cover Shoot at Barn at Bay Horse Inn

Carri Fras |  May 4, 2017

In today’s world, wedding design is going far beyond a single color or texture. More and more brides are choosing their very own style–their own theme. After partnering with Jodie Stansbury of Aisle Ready Events, we began to swoon over the idea of our own look: a slightly rustic, raw and natural cover shoot with a lodge-like feel. “When researching photos of lodges and lodge décor, we noticed a lot of Navajo patterns being used in the textiles,” Jodie says. “This pattern helped bring in the Sedona twist.” The vision of warm, soft colors and natural elements such as wood, stone, patterned pillows and even antlers had us, well, quite hooked!

Romance In the Air: An Indian Summer Style Shoot

Carri Fras |  May 2, 2017

Inspired by the loveliness of an Indian Summer–those late fall days when memories of warmer times still linger and cooler evenings are felt—Christa of Christa Hitchcock Photography found herself drawn to the idea of a stylized wedding complete with seasonal hues and flowing, feminine textures.

The New Bohemian: A Bright, Eclectic Cover Shoot at Blissful Barn

Carri Fras |  April 27, 2017

It’s no secret that the vintage charm of barn weddings continues to be popular, luring many brides through their rustic barn doors–especially here in the Midwest! While we knew we wanted to use this sought-after venue, we also desired to design a fresh, new take on the typical barn wedding by taking advantage of the current boho trend. After joining forces with Krissy Campbell of Simply Be So Events, a Northern Indiana based wedding and event planning business, it was clear that a bright, bohemian cover shoot, coupled with a woodland feel and a touch of vintage would give us the very (beautiful) edge we so envisioned!

The Wedding Story of Betsy & Ryan Wilkinson

Carri Fras |  April 26, 2017

Betsy and Ryan Wilkinson met on OkCupid.com©. After chatting for a month, the two decided to meet in person, and it was evident at first sight that they shared something very special. The couple frequently took walks on Notre Dame’s campus, but what started as a typical scenic walk, ended with the surprise of Betsy’s life. As they made their way from the Grotto to the lake one memorable summer evening, Ryan proposed! While they had dated only six months, they planned on an engagement of a little over a year–enough time to plan the wedding of their dreams!

The Wedding Story of Kaitlin Robinson and Jake Rohde

Carri Fras |  March 29, 2017

Kaitlin and Jake found each other by sheer luck. And by sheer luck we mean that a decision that probably seemed as insignificant as whether or not to attend a mutual friend’s Memorial Day festivities was, in fact, a decision that changed the course of their lives.

The Wedding Story of Kelli and Sam Myers

Often you meet so many people in college but likely won’t cross paths with most of them later in life, once you go your separate ways. Move to a population-heavy, bustling town like Chicago, and the odds should be even greater in finding someone but...the odds of running into and hitting it off with a college acquaintance at a spur of the moment concert and getting married to them four years later? Something tells us fate was involved!
