Carri Fras | April 11, 2018Ingeniously disguising his proposal plan as the result of winning a work competition, Mike whisked Theresa away on a lovely September weekend trip to New Buffalo, Michigan, complete with a wine tour. “We drove up and hopped on the wine tour, and after a few stressful hours for me and a couple of glasses of wine for her, we ended at Round Barn,” says Mike. “I led her out between the vines and got down on one knee! It was such a great weekend in New Buffalo that we decided to come back a year later to tie the knot!”

To fine-tune our vision, we turned to Sarah Farthing of All in the Details, who took it to new, enchanting heights! “For this shoot, we drew on the natural, industrial chic features of the building, added hints of celestial elements and tied it all together with a great deal of romantic candlelight and extravagant, floral displays,” says Sarah. Striking a beautiful balance between classic romance and trends, the shoot fuses unique details with the allure of a revamped, historic space.

This friend even gave the blessing during our wedding ceremony.”
