Different, bold and full of boho spirit, this Bloomington style shoot will wow you. This colorful, chic barn shoot was coordinated by Morgan of Ashley Weddings and Events, who wanted to illustrate how a barn space like Whippoorwill Hill could work for couples wanting to think outside-the-box. “In the COVID-19 environment, we have seen wedding trends (and/or mandates) move toward smaller, or socially distanced ceremonies and receptions,” Morgan says. “Elopements are becoming more and more popular, so we wanted to feature a ‘ceremony’ in a non-traditional place.”
This feathered dress is any boho bride’s dream! We simply can’t get enough of the lace and elegant plunging neckline. The model’s romantic hair and soft makeup emulate a timeless beauty that will never go out of style!
According to Morgan, the wedding industry can expect to see more bright and bold colors in the upcoming year. We love these lively summer florals!
We can't help but swoon over a groom in a sharp suit from Andrew Davis Clothiers!
Little details go a long way in this shoot. The peacock chairs, glass cake stand and ceremony gates truly helped this shoot create a characterization of its own.
The team spared no expense providing an array of food choices. From a delicious charcuterie board to a variety of pie flavors, this reception has something that tastes great on every palette. The two textured cakes make a statement with color and precision!
Highlighting the historical Whippoorwill Hill venue was the main goal of this shoot. We love this Bloomington barn's variety of indoor and outdoor spaces--and that flower field is gorgeous, too! Morgan adds, “We felt like featuring this bold, colorful, shoot would lay nicely on the pristine rolling farmland of Whippoorwill Hill.”
