Please tell us a little more about your business.

“We started our business on a whim almost twelve years ago. We never thought it would become our full-time gig looking back, but wow! We sure are grateful for the journey. If there is one word that we could use to describe our business, it's adventure. From the moment we began up until now, it's been one grand adventure that we have been super lucky to be on. And as a business, that's what we try to give to the people who trust us with their memories. It's not only an experience, but an adventure, that we hope they'll remember when times get rough, and life bogs them down. And people always ask us if Erin and I are sisters ... and the answer is yes! Erin is actually my younger sister. I am the oldest, along with my twin sister, and then we have a middle sister. We make it a point to tell at least one embarrassing story as an ice breaker! Gets a good belly laugh ... every.single.time!"

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"We are always so humbled when someone chooses us to photograph their wedding. Somehow, among the countless other photographers that they could choose from, they chose us. And we are seriously honored every single time. We approach every wedding with one thing in mind: chase the moment. We like to be inconspicuous. We like capturing things that may seem insignificant, but later we learn were important moments — or — important details that might otherwise be overlooked. We photograph weddings with the idea that we're telling a couple's story. When they look back at their photographs 10, 15 or 20 years down the road, we want them to remember exactly how they felt, and we hope to convey that through the photographs we get to take. And while most photographers have a second shooter along for the day, my sister and I both come into the day as equal partners. I trust her, and she trusts me, and we work together as a team. We also have so much fun! My sister is the life of the party and can make anyone feel at ease and laugh! The big belly laughs! We are grateful that we get the opportunity to tell the story of two people's love. It's the greatest honor in the world."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"Photography has really given us the ability to help those around us, and we find that exciting! In 2019, we partnered with a few organizations that allow us to use photography to help with different needs. We recently became volunteer photographers with Found Families which is an organization that partners photographers with families who are adopting! It's one of the greatest joys in the world to watch a child learn they've found a forever family. We also have partnered with an organization, Lot 2545, that is based in Kampala, Uganda. The organization works with young men and women, to provide a safe space, off the streets, where they can begin to heal and prepare for their futures. They also work with an amazing group of ladies, providing fair wages for their handmade creative works. We have had the privilege to photograph local fundraisers, along with products to help sell items here in the states. We have also continued our partnership with Riley Children's Hospital, photographing their Riley Champions, like Connor!" Check it out here.

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"We are inspired by adventure! We both love nature, seeing new places, meeting new people, but even more so, we love moments — the ones that make you tear up just thinking about them. And on someone's wedding day, there are so many of these moments. When we first meet with couples, we ask them their most anticipated moment of their big day. Their answers always make us smile and certainly inspire us! When we go into their wedding day, we have that anticipation in the back of our minds, and that fuels us as we get to live their big day with them."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"We love photographing love in its truest form. On a wedding day, two people are choosing to commit forever to each other. That is huge, and what an amazing thing to be a witness to — and document! It's sincerely a privilege and an honor."
