Zach didn't give up on Madeline even though she rejected him after they flirted at their junior high homecoming. A year after graduating high school, Madeline and Zach reconnected at a bonfire. They dated for three and a half years before breaking up because Madeline wasn't looking for a long-distance relationship and Zach was moving out of state for work. They reconnected again in spring of 2022 and picked up where they left off. Despite the fact that Zach has a year and a half left in the Army and is stationed in upstate New York, Madeline couldn't be more grateful for him being in her life!

Look how gorgeous Madeline's ring is! We love how elegant the pear-shaped gem looks positioned on the silver band. The smaller diamonds on the eternity band also accent the main stone beautifully. While it is a very elegant look, it's got the perfect blend of simplicity to pair wonderfully with any outfit!

Being from Michigan, Madeline and Zach both know how beautiful downtown Detroit can be. With classic architecture and a stunning skyline in the distance, Detroit was the perfect place for their romantic engagement session. Walking around the city also created an opportunity for their photographer to take motion photography, which is one of the reasons Madeline and Zach chose Stewart & Co.

As for outfits, Madeline and Zach chose classy yet laid-back looks for their engagement session. We love the simplicity of Madeline's black cocktail dress, which looks so cozy! Zach also wore a nice button-up shirt and dress pants that pair nicely with Madeline's outfit. They look forward to looking back at these photos for years to come and noticing the small details or reminiscing on their shared laughter.
