"We had the perfect wedding! David and his band kept the dance floor packed the entire night. They played songs custom to our wedding and literally didn't miss a beat. It was a truly personalized experience for us. We highly recommend them!"

Please tell us a little more about your business.
"David Rothstein Music was started over 20 years ago with the idea that each couple deserves to get their own music for their own wedding. We provide complete music for each aspect of a client's wedding, ceremony and reception. We give each client a separate emcee to take care of all the announcements and introductions and a high energy DJ to play during band breaks and introductions. Our band ranges in size from a 7-to-14-piece orchestra, with our most popular size band being 10-pieces. Clients can choose from six different ensembles for their ceremony. They will have a state of the art sound system, stage lighting and so much more included."
What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?
"We specialize in giving each couple a wedding that is incredibly personalized and authentic for what they want. We don't follow the hottest trends. We only follow the trends of our brides and grooms. Our musicians are incredibly talented and versatile. They are able to perform a wide variety of music to accommodate all of their guests. We even create a personalized gift that's based on something unique about the couple. For example, we recently played for a bride who owns a shoe store. The groom is a carpenter. So, for their special gift, I ordered a pair of Dutch wooden shoes from Holland, Michigan with their names and wedding date engraved on the side. All of their wedding guests signed the shoes, and we gave it to them as a special gift from our music company. We also donate their wedding flowers to a nursing home the following morning. Each couple gets unlimited song requests and we can customize their schedule to their specific needs. We care about our couples and the music they love."
Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?
"We were recently featured in the Chicago Tribune, as well as the Chicago Sun Times. We have been voted the nation's most charitable wedding vendor by Wedding Wire."
What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?
"It's the uniqueness of each couple and my personal joy in trying to make them as happy as possible. I get to work with incredible musicians who care about performing each and every song with the highest level of energy and enthusiasm. I love taking on the individual challenges of each wedding and always going above and beyond to create something special for them and all of their guests."
What do you love most about working with couples?
"Every couple has their own individual love story. I love finding certain songs that help them share who they are with all their guests. We dig deeper than most bands and try to find unique songs that aren't usually played for weddings, but that means something to that couple. Maybe it's a ridiculous song by the Spice Girls that she always sang with her sisters or the song that the groom's family always sang together at any family function. We want to be as flexible and open-minded to the specific needs of each couple as possible, as well as act as an expert guide to help them find the best way to make it happen."
