This Chicago E-Session is Simply Picturesque: The Engagement of Alexandra and Drew

Alexandra was introduced to Drew through mutual friends. During a small get-together with their friends, the pair connected, and instantly sparks flew! After blissfully taking their time through dating, the couple was ready to take the next step in their relationship. In during what Alexandra thought would be a double date to the park with her best friend and her new boyfriend, Drew dropped to one knee and popped the question! Her friend had brought a photographer instead of a “boyfriend,” ready to capture the moment.

Alexandra was very involved in the process of buying her ring. She jokes, “I made him memorize ‘round diamond, yellow gold, 6 prongs’ so he wouldn’t forget.” The pair worked with a jeweler to make the ring exactly to Alexandra’s specifications.

The couple plans to have an outdoor summer wedding at a vineyard. Alexandra adds, “I really do love wedding planning. I am so excited about each of the vendors we have chosen to work with.”
