This Classic Indianapolis Ballroom Wedding Has Lots of Sparkle: The Real Wedding of Mary and Chad Butler

Mary and Chad were teammates on the same recreational dodge ball league. The pair grew to be close friends, and after jumping into a relationship, they both knew it was meant to last. Mary kept bringing up the e-word, so Chad took the hint and asked. Of course, she said 'yes!'

Mary tried on a few dresses to find what style she liked but didn’t fall in love at her first bridal appointment. But once she knew she had found 'the one,' she knew she never would have to try on anything else!

What we love

One of Mary’s favorite parts of the wedding's design was her bridesmaids' unique black outfits! “I wanted them to choose their own dresses/jumpsuits to show their individuality,” she notes. “I wanted a variation in textures, so some of the girls wore lace, others velvet, etc. They looked incredible. I was absolutely obsessed.”

Advice from the couple

Mary’s advice for couples is to soak in the fun and enjoy the day while it lasts. She adds, “Do not let yourself stress on the day of your wedding. You stressed enough leading up to that point!”
