When the team got together to create this shoot, they wanted to create a modern style shoot with a classic feel. "It was my idea. I wanted to see classic beauty in a modernized way—a little more flirty and fun but in a timeless way," Bree Aaron, the photographer and planner for this shoot, shares. The main goal with the color palette and rentals was to keep it toned down enough to truly make the couple shine. The team chose simple glassware and delicate flowers to decorate the scene!

Speaking of flowers, check out that stunning floral arbor in the ceremony space! "The flower arch is a faux flower arch rental," Bree admits. "The flower arch rental was just too gorgeous to resist." We think it beautifully fills the space and completes the scene. The rest of the florals were fresh and equally stunning flowers that helped elevate the shoot.

Other details were used to bring in modern trends, but the team had to skillfully balance them to not lose the classic style of this shoot. They artfully incorporated a neon sign, champagne wall and mobile bar. To balance the shoot, the time included vintage chair rentals and pearl details in the bride's hair. The stationery, designed by Allison Kelley with Your Little Details, adds to the classic vibes with a nice mix of black and white and elegant fonts. Bree sent Allison a few different inspiration images of what she was envisioning with the stationery and let her use her expertise and creativity to bring this classy set to life!

The team could not have found a better venue to host their shoot. As Bree explains, "It's eclectic, fun and beautiful. I thought it fit the modern but classic vibes." We couldn't agree more! There are plenty of different industrial materials in Barrelhouse the Venue like brick, wood and metal that have recently grown popular in wedding venues. However, the brick seems aged and vintage, which brings in an air of history to the building. All in all, it was a great location for this shoot!

As has been a trend for some years now, the team utilized two dresses for this shoot. The first is a classic satin gown that is timeless and show-stopping. However, the design also marries modernity with its leg slit and sweetheart neckline. Fun and flirty style is brought in by the shorter second dress. When paired with the sparkly boots, the second look is a purely modern style! The bride's hair, beautifully styled by Blushing Beauty and Co., and makeup were a mix of classic—with the red lip and slicked-front hair—and modern—seen in the light glam eyeshadow and big lashes.
