A Classy & Vintage-Inspired E-Session in Kokomo, Indiana: The Engagement of Kimberly and Jacob

Kimberly and Jacob's love story proves that sometimes, the most meaningful connections start quietly! Though they grew up in the same small town, their paths didn’t cross until later in life—despite a few coincidental run-ins at Kimberly’s workplace and a funeral chapel where Jacob greeted her with an unforgettable smile. Eventually, Jacob reached out on Facebook, and from there, their story blossomed! Jacob proposed on a walk downtown after dinner, stopping in front of a giant Christmas tree. What Kimberly thought was a photo-op turned into a life-changing moment when he dropped to one knee! The night continued with a Pacers game, full of celebration and joy.

Jacob custom-designed Kimberly’s engagement ring—a stunning diamond with a floating halo and cathedral setting. “What means the most is knowing how much thought and love he put into creating it just for me,” Kimberly shared.

Their engagement session was photographed by Meghan Alyssa Photography at The Hobson in Kokomo, Indiana—a vintage, elegant space Kimberly had admired for years. She shares, "It’s full of charm and character, with endless picture-perfect spots." Meghan’s romantic style was the perfect fit, capturing the couple’s genuine connection!

Kimberly and Jacob are planning a timeless, elegant wedding that celebrates their cultures and families. "My side of the family is Mexican, so it’s also important to us that the day celebrates the blending of our cultures. We’re excited to bring together traditions, music and flavors from both sides to create a day that’s not only stylish, but truly meaningful to us," she explains.

Though both have lost their fathers, the support of their mothers has carried them through. “Their support has been a constant reminder of the power of family and the beauty of unconditional love. We are so grateful to have them by our side as we begin this next chapter of our lives together.” Kimberly shares.

As their big day approaches, Kimberly and Jacob are honoring the past, embracing the present and looking forward to a future built on love, legacy and shared dreams!
