This Cozy Chicago E-Session has Fall Foliage and a Four-Legged Friend: The Engagement of Maryssa and Steve

Bonding over their love of Chicago White Sox, Maryssa and Steve met in line for nachos at a White Sox game! After dating for a while, Steve decided it was time to propose. On a morning walk with their dog, Lily—who is featured in some of their engagement photos—Steve got down on one knee and popped the question!
 

Without any guidance from Maryssa, Steve picked out this gorgeous ring. It's a three-stoned design that is both elegant and simple. We love the timeless elegance of the round diamond and the simple designs on the band. "I love the hidden heart detail and that he chose it for me," Maryssa gushes.
 

Maryssa and Steve actually found their engagement and wedding photographer, Trysh Jaeger Photography, at a venue they toured. "She had her work up in a venue's gallery, and I loved it!" Maryssa raves. Trysh also helped them find their location for their engagement session. Once they had it chosen and knew they would be out in the fall foliage, Maryssa and Steve selected outfits with neutral colors that would complement the colors of the season.
 

So far, wedding planning is going great for the happy couple! All of the vendors they have been able to find have amazing work, so they know their wedding will be a success. Going into planning, they had a general idea of what they wanted. Maryssa explains, "We know we want something simple and elegant, very romantic and subtle."
