Who doesn’t dream of spending an evening tucked away on a beautiful hillside in Tuscany? That was the exact feeling that the team of this style shoot was going for. Andi Sherman, the owner of Something Blue Stylists came to Sarah Agee of Plum and Poppy Weddings with the idea. Sarah says, “The idea for this shoot came from Andi with Something Blue Stylists. She had this friend with this gorgeous red hair and she said she wanted to do a shoot with her.” With that inspiration in mind, the team forged forward in creating a romantic, Tuscany-inspired shoot captured by Conforti Photography.

The team first focused in on picking the perfect venue. Hillcrest Country Club ended up being the perfect choice. Sarah says, “It has the perfect exterior that evoked thoughts of Tuscany.” You can see this theme in its beautiful exterior archways and grand staircase.

“We wanted lots of creamy, warm caramel colors for fall,” says Sarah. “The roses that the florist found were perfect!” The soft hues used in the florals by Accent Floral Design were also borrowed in the bridal look for a soft, romantic feeling.

Other features that pulled the shoot together were the textures of linens, the naked, drip cake and a vintage car. Sarah notes, “We used lots of layered linens which I think is a popular trend on the coasts. You don’t see that as much here but I think once clients see something like that they’re more likely to be open to that for their own wedding.”
