An Earthy Adventure Elopement in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois

Bold and enchanting don’t even begin to describe this adventurous elopement! Haley of Haley Raven Photography collaborated with a team of all women to create this stunning all-natural shoot. “As COVID-19 has created a number of challenges, we see weddings condensing in size and elopements gaining in popularity,” Haley explains. “This shoot was orchestrated with the hope of appealing to those couples in the Midwest dreaming of a similar day.”
 

What can we say, we’re always here for a two-piece bridal set! This outfit’s whimsical embroidered lace accented with sequins made it perfect for this scenic shoot. The model's beachy braid and dewy makeup mirrors the relaxed and natural setting of the rocks. The groom’s embroidered turtleneck and plaid suit polishes off the couple’s modern look!

The earthy tones of these florals bring cohesion to the shoot and its natural surroundings. 

Cave Rock’s natural beauty was a big inspiration for this shoot. The limestone caves and riverside beach make this area an unforgettable hidden gem great for any adventurous couple. Haley adds, “There were nearly freezing temperatures and we had to navigate deep, dark caves. We had to keep things moving and work with the little light we were dealt, but it was well worth it!”
