Denise and Eric met in high school and became friends right away. After graduation, they lost touch but luckily reconnected. Eric planned a very sweet proposal. Denise says, “He brought me back to the very spot where we had met in high school and my sisters were there hiding to take pictures.” It was a perfect surprise!
Eric and Denise knew the one vendor they had to have. Denise says, “Our photographer was actually the photographer at our best friend’s wedding. After we saw how amazing their pictures turned out, we canceled with the first place and immediately booked our date with Pixels and Paint! “
What we love
We love that Denise used special items for her wedding day from her family members. She adds, “My earrings were my mom’s, the watch I wore belonged to my great aunt, who had passed away and was given to me as a gift by her three daughters."
Advice from the bride
“Don’t sweat the small stuff! No matter what anyone says or does, this day is about you and your fiancé, and that’s it,” Denise says. “The most important thing is the two of you being happy.”
How the bride used WeddingDay
Denis utilized WeddingDay to help plan the big day. She notes, “I picked up the magazine at a bridal show and used it for pictures for inspiration and read some articles to help with ideas!”
