An Engagement in the Mountains: The Engagement of MaKenzie and Cam

Love at first sight isn’t just in fairytales! For MaKenzie, she knew that Cam was 'the one' within the first few moments of laying eyes on him! She notes, “I remember telling one of my friends working with me ‘I am going to marry him someday.’” Little did she know, during a vacation to Seattle, Cam had plans to make her dreams come true! Cam proposed at the top of Mount Rainier, and we're in love with these stunning photos!

MaKenzie went shopping for rings with Cam with one style in mind, but Cam added a unique twist that absolutely blew her away! MaKenzie says, “I love it because it has intertwining diamonds with a classic clear diamond in the center, with two peekaboo diamonds on either side on the bottom of the band!”

Bailey of Blackbird and Rye Photography went above and beyond to provide the very best for this engagement session. MaKenzie says that she even went to help the couple pick out memorable outfits for the session! 

So far, the couple says the planning process has been easy. MaKenzie knows exactly what she wants in a wedding, and we love seeing a bride's dreams come true! MaKenzie gushes, “I cannot wait for the next steps in the planning process!”
