Garden Party: A Whimsical & Colorful Style Shoot in Southwest Michigan

Wanting to show couples that color can be used in an elegant fashion, this creative team developed a bold garden party scene for their style shoot. Farrand Hall was one of the major inspirations for this shoot, with its Greek revival architecture and expansive garden that couples can enjoy on their wedding day, weather permitting. Unfortunately, rain dampened the day of this shoot, but the venue's plentiful charm still shone through! Speaking of the outdoors, you can’t have a garden-inspired shoot without plenty of florals to fill the scene! This shoot is filled to the brim with blooms of various colors and textures to occupy every inch of this space!

 

What We Love

A variety of elegant and playful gowns from The Frock Bridal were carefully selected to showcase different styles. We adore the team's decision to feature a mix of intricate and minimalist designs, as well as both long and short dresses, adding versatility to the overall aesthetic. The choice to embellish the bride’s hair with silk butterflies instead of a classic veil was the perfect touch, infusing a whimsical charm into each look!
