Get Inspired with a Moody and Warm Theme from This Style Shoot in Niles, Michigan

The idea for this shoot came from unused space. "The original goal of the shoot was to use our top floor, which had never been used for a wedding," Melanie Kennedy, owner of The Grand LV, explains. "It is a great raw space with a ton of character, and it photographs really well!" Working closely with Burns Rent-Alls to bring this vision to life, the creative team made a beautiful space that a real couple can actually enjoy for their big day!
 

The Grand LV is a space that is rather unassuming when viewed from the outside. Melanie raves, "We have been continuously updating and renovating the inside, but from the outside, you would have no idea that the inside holds so much historic charm. There is a ton of really amazing, detailed plaster molding and high ceilings. The top floor was originally a gymnasium and it is a vast, open space that really lends itself to almost anything." The only shortcoming is that the venue does not have an elevator, but the creative team got all their steps in taking the décor up to the top floor!
 

We love how the warm color palette brings a romantic feel to this otherwise dark and moody shoot. Though this space is capable of catering to any theme a couple could dream of, fall boho was the theme that the creative team tried to capture with input from the couple who actually got married there! Lauren from Burns Rent-Alls was a major contributor to this stunning shoot. "The entire shoot was styled by Lauren, and she knocked it out of the park!" Melanie gushes. All the décor items were brought by her and styled accordingly. Everything came together so beautifully!
 

Speaking of beauty, check out that blushing bride! She looks absolutely stunning in that gorgeous lacy gown. It brings in even more romantic vibes to this shoot. We also love the bold lip color. Not only does it blend perfectly with the warm-toned décor, but it also draws attention to the bride without overwhelming the other details of this amazing shoot.
