This Goshen, Indiana Farm Wedding Dazzles with Rustic Design: The Real Wedding of Sidney and Clay Bontrager

Clay first met Sidney through mutual friends during their senior year of high school. From there on out, the pair was inseparable! Clay teased an engagement for a while to throw Sidney off the trail but completely surprised her by dropping to one knee during a photoshoot. We love surprise engagements!

Sidney wanted to keep an open mind during her dress shopping, so she visited as many salons as she could to get a good feel for her favorite style. She says, “Each failed attempt to find 'the one' simply brought me closer to the magic of finding it. It helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted.” She said yes to the dress at Wendy's Bridal and couldn't be happier!

Sidney also wanted to give back to her bridesmaids, so she purchased some beautiful jewelry from Love Leigh Gift Co. as a token of her thanks. We love a loyal bride tribe!

Clay and Sidney are ultimate ice cream lovers--so they had to create their very own Unity Sundae! “The unity sundae represented two different people becoming one, and since it was so hot on our wedding day, the ice cream melted together splendidly to enforce our vision even better,” Sidney says.
