What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"I am my couples’ biggest cheerleader while providing guidance, a listening ear and a calm, positive attitude. I recognize that each wedding is unique and I enjoy helping couples weave their personalities and distinct details into their special day. My couples' visions and wishes are my number one priority. Is having your dog present important to you? Or an ice cream truck on site for your reception? I love these details, no matter how big or small! On wedding days, my ultimate goal is to allow couples to relax and enjoy their joyful, happy celebration as their months of planning decisions unfold seamlessly."
 

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"I knew I wanted to be in the hospitality industry at a young age. I studied Hospitality Management at Purdue University and began a diverse career path through catering, event planning and venue management. As a general manager of a venue, I cherished the relationships I built working with couples. Helping them turn their dream into reality was such a reward. In 2016, I decided to start my own wedding planning business, Lisa Norris Events – and never looked back!"

What do you love most about working with couples?

"Beyond my love for logistics and design, I focus on compassion and hospitality as a key component for every wedding. I value every relationship I've built with couples and their families  and I cherish the positive lasting impression I leave with my couples when they look back on their special day."
