Please tell us a little more about your business.

"Events by D. Nicole was created to cater to couples that love to impress and entertain. I have been doing weddings since 2011 and what I love most about what I do is creating unforgettable moments for my couples. I have a passion for using decor to create memories that will be etched in your hearts forever. I truly enjoy the personal aspects, creativity and the beauty on a wedding day. I want my couples to feel gorgeous...almost like celebrities! I want them to look back at photos and think they came straight out of a fashion magazine. My style is elevated elegance."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you? 

"Not all wedding planners are designers. I differentiate my offerings by explaining to brides that they will get a planner that can design every aspect of their day which will create a total experience for their guests. I like to provide a service that feels like opening a gift that you really wanted, but didn't tell anyone about."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"We were recently selected for a feature in Munaluchi Bridal. We have been named Couples Choice Planner through the city of Fishers."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"I'm inspired by this industry because no two couples are the same. I get to create something unique and special for each of my couples. I don't like to duplicate other people's work, but rather focus on what's important to my couple and their love story."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"My favorite part about working with couples is when I get to show them how their design has come together. I create a very dramatic room reveal and allow the couple to have a shared moment in the reception space before guests are allowed to enter. For those few moments, it's just them, some soft music and the photographer capturing all the love!"
