Love is in the Air in this Candlelit Cincinnati Wedding: The Wedding of Andréa and Andre DuBois

Andréa swiped right on Andre’s Bumble profile and the match was instant. Three days later, the pair went on their first date and they’ve been together ever since! Andre completely took Andréa by surprise when he popped the question during a couple’s photo shoot. She adds, “After I said 'yes,' I turned around and there were 10 of our best friends! I almost jumped out of my skin.”

After a long period of searching for her dress, Andréa found her dream gown during her lunch break. She explains, “I went to just try on a few dresses. I was scouring the clearance rack when I saw it. I grabbed, tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I cried! I took it home that day.”

The pair wanted a wedding that was bursting with rustic elegance. They moved their ceremony up nine months, so they had to have some last-minute vendor adjustments, but were still able to create a beautiful day!

What we love

Andréa and Andre fell in love with the aesthetic of their venue and felt it made their big day all that more special. “It gave me outdoor vibes without actually being outdoors,” she says. “The candles, exposed brick and overall sexiness of the space was incredible.”

Advice from the couple

Andréa reminds couples not to forget about what comes after the wedding: the honeymoon! “So many people pump so much money into the wedding and don’t do enough for themselves afterward. The honeymoon was so important to us. It was something we were doing that was just to get our marriage started on the right foot. It was worth every penny.”
