Please tell us a little more about your venue. 

"Rock Run Creek Barn was a spin-off of our first barn. I loved doing what I did so much, so I said 'let's do this again.' We are farmers and had several of these big old barns sitting around collecting dust. I do have to say, the first barn, the J Weaver Barn was definitely my husband's idea but after working it for three years, I said, 'let's do it again, I love what I do!'"

What sets you apart from other venues? Why should a bride choose you? 

"I wanted our barn to be different. I wanted restroom facilities inside on the main floor. I wanted heat and air conditioning, that makes both our barns three season barns."

What do you want couples to feel when they first walk into your venue? 

"I want my couples to walk in and fall in love with what they see. I want them to love who they work with and know I will do everything possible to make their day beautiful and when they are done with their day to be able to walk away and say, 'that was the best day of my life!'"
 

What inspires you as a venue owner? 

"I love to make people happy. I love to make their day as beautiful as possible. I do offer a décor package–decorating is my true love. I love to decorate for a wedding. Working with my couples is very invigorating for me. I guess their fun and happiness rubs off on me!"
