 “The Waterford was an amazing place for our wedding reception. We originally picked them for two reasons: budget and convenience. The Waterford was by far the most affordable location we considered, with open bar, cake cutting, champagne for the toast, etc. This Was all included in the price of the dinner (which was extremely reasonable). Plus, they were really willing to work with us to make things as affordable as possible."

Please tell us a little more about your business.

"The Waterford Estates Lodge is truly your one stop shop for all wedding day needs. Our 189 room hotel has more than enough comfortable accommodations for all of your out of town guests, and our beautiful banquet facility offers versatility for everyone. Our Grand Ballroom is perfect for weddings ranging from 125 to 325 guests and we also offer smaller event rooms for more intimate weddings or bridal showers. All of your meals are catered fresh by our skilled chefs and our onsite coordinators are dedicated to putting your mind at ease, so you can relax and enjoy your special day."
 

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"Weddings are expensive, and rentals add up quickly. Our clearly defined reception packages allow you to coordinate a stress-free reception that includes everything you need for your special day. These packages include buffet or plated meal options, open bar, flatware and glassware, floor length linens, a dedicated coordinator and much more. We work with you throughout the whole process to make sure you are on schedule with important tasks like sending out your RSVPs, to create a customized floor plan and day of timeline and, most importantly, to make sure your special day goes as smoothly as possible."

 

Do you have anything else exciting that you would like to share?

"Our newest addition to weddings at the Waterford is our outdoor ceremony location. Starting in 2018, we will be offering the option to get married in our beautiful outdoor space complete with a wooden arch, decorative white chairs and a built-in contingency plan in case of inclement weather. This space truly is a one of a kind location for your perfect ceremony."
 

What inspires you as a wedding venue?

"It never ceases to amaze us on how many ways our Ballroom can be transformed to look like a completely different space. Every couple has a unique style and personality and it is such a joy to get to go on that journey with them to develop and execute those visions to create a day that is uniquely them."

 

What do you love most about helping a couple with their big day?

"We tend to be hopeless romantics around here, and it is hard not to be impressed with how much love fills our venue on wedding days! A wedding is just a chapter in a long book for our couples and, although it is a very important chapter, we love to hear how the story began. Knowing the whole story really makes it that much more special helping the couple finally say “I do” and start their very own happily ever after together."
