This Michigan Lakeside E-Session Brings Fun Summer Vibes: The Engagement of Emily and Pete

Emily and Pete met while completing their undergraduate degrees at Purdue University and cherished their time together. Six years later, Pete proposed with both their families present at Pete's family's country club. "They had set up giant balloons attached to the gazebo spelling out 'Marry Me?' with seven dozen roses. The sidewalk leading up to the pergola was covered in rose petals and lined with roses and candles," Emily shares. "It was the easiest 'YES' I’ve ever had to say!"

After finding the perfect ring on Pinterest, Emily shared it with Pete and his mom to help them in their search for her engagement ring. She wanted a a gold band with a square cut diamond with a halo that tightly enclosed around the diamond and a single diamond band. "I love everything about the ring and im not just saying that because I've waited six years for it! It is everything I have envisioned and dreamed of since I saw the picture on Pinterest and more," Emily gushes. It also looks so stunning with their coordinated summer outfits!

The couple decided to go with Vilma Maria Photograph er to capture them during this engagement session. Emily raves, "She is beyond talented. I had the pleasure of working with her during my brother and sister's wedding last year. She is an absolute dream to work with." Next, the couple chose their location for their engagement session. Emily grew up going to Coldwater Lake and loved it there. She knew it would be the perfect locale for their photos!

"I’ve been adding to my wedding Pinterest page since I was about sixteen," Emily admits. "We have been really using most of those inspirations for the wedding." And all of the vendors helping with their wedding are fabulous. They are bringing Emily's dream wedding to life with ease and taking so much stress off Emily's shoulder's in the process!
