A Nature-Filled Outdoor Detroit E-Session: The Engagement of Haley and Kyle

After meeting through mutual friends in high school, Haley and Kyle started dating and stayed together after graduation. Later, Kyle took Haley on a trip to Mackinac Island, where he chose to propose to her. On the shores of Mackinac Island, Kyle got down on one knee an proposed while looking out over Lake Huron.
 

"My fiancé picked out the ring himself," Haley gushes. "What I love most about my ring is the sparkle it has in the sun and overall, the diamond in the middle!" The solitaire princess cut diamond is absolutely stunning, and the white gold band looks good with everything, including the cozy white sweater that Haley is wearing. The happy couple decided to wear neutral colors to allow the scenery to really pop in their photos.
 

Haley found Clever Candid Photography through a good friend who recommended her with high praise. When it came time to pick a location for their engagement session, Haley let Kayla, their photographer, know that she loves all things fall and flowers. Kayla knew the perfect place to have them do the shoot. The happy couple also decided to include their adorable dog as a part of their engagement session!
 

Since they've been together for more than ten years, Haley and Kyle have had plenty of talks about what they both hoped their wedding day would look like and the things they expected to be a part of their big day. For them, planning has been relatively easy because of that. Haley raves, "We love planning for love and of course a party!"
