For our modern, simple decor plan, the ballroom worked very well. The hotel is definitely the nicest one in the St. Joseph area that could accommodate the 200-ish guests that we had (indoors especially), and was perfect for that purpose. Our guests still talk about how good the food was, which of course is nice to hear! The many truly incredible vendors in this area that we hired worked perfectly with Elizabeth, especially because most of them had worked at The Inn in the past for weddings. St. Joseph is a perfect place to get married, and there are so many incredible vendors in the area to choose from...when it comes to a reception hall for a crowd, The Inn should be one of the first ones considered, especially thanks to Elizabeth's expertise."

Please tell us a little more about The inn at Harbor Shores.

"The Inn offers 92 luxury guest rooms, a selection of dining options, full-service spa, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, state-of-the-art meeting rooms and wedding venues for up to 300 guests. Harbor Shores Resort is just 90 minutes east of Chicago, 3 hours west of Detroit and 3 hours north of Indianapolis, making it a convenient weekend getaway destination and an ideal location for team building events, weddings and more."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"Our hotel rooms are offered at a discounted rate for wedding guests. We provide all of our own in-house catering, making us a one-stop-shop for all venue and catering needs. Couples receive a complimentary bridal room on the same floor as the ballroom for the bridal party to get ready on the day of the wedding. We offer early entrance into the ballroom on the day of the wedding at 8:00 AM. Finally, provide set up and tear down by our event staff of tables, chairs, linens and tableware.

What do you love most about working with couples?

"I love the excitement that couples have when they are planning their day with me! It’s so nice to see when a couple is in love and excited about their wedding. I really love on the day of the wedding when couples are calm and relaxed because they know we have everything handled. Our entire team works hard to make sure we give the bride and groom their best day ever. It’s always great to get that positive feedback from couples sharing how wonderful everything was."
