Courtney and Isaiah started as best friends in high school. Soon their relationship sprung into something more, and they were ready to take the next steps in their lives. Because they both were participants in the 4-H Fair, Isaiah popped the question inside the barn where they started hanging out. After the proposal, the couple got to share a picnic!
Over the course of their long-term relationship, Courtney and Isaiah had looked for rings styles a few times before actually buying one. Isaiah picked a ring with a real diamond, something that Courtney loves!
Despite wanting to plan their wedding on a tight budget, this pair knew they wanted to splurge to get photos they’d love to look at for years to come. Alison Mae Photography was the perfect choice for the couple--also because Alison is Courtney’s cousin!
During the planning process, Courtney has stayed organized through her binder. “I thought I knew exactly what I wanted when we got engaged,” she says. “I was still in nursing school so I waited until I graduated to start really planning. And man! There are so many things to do!” Despite the bumps in the road, this couple feels they can face any challenge thanks to the love and support of their friends and family.
