The Vision
Inspired by the 2023 Pantone Color of the Year, Viva Magenta, Michelle of Unveiled Weddings and Events wanted to create a style shoot that highlighted both the boldness of the hue and how to pair it with subtle pinks to not overwhelm the eye. The final result was this vintage yet modern style shoot, which is such a huge trend in the wedding industry right now. Subtle tropical details combined with a bit of rustic charm that the Midwest is known for, created an artfully balanced shoot, full of unique and unexpected beauty!
The Venue
Although Venue 5126 boasts several stunning outdoor areas, the day of the cover shoot proved too windy to take advantage of their beauty. Luckily, the multiple inside spaces are just as gorgeous! We are in love with the all-white reception tent that let in plenty of natural light and was adorned with elegant chandeliers. The ceremony space gave a more intimate vibe, with its rustic details, sliding barn doors and fairy lights lining the ceiling! Plus, wedding parties will absolutely love the charming bridal suite, customized with modern patterns, neon signs and showstopping mirrors!
The Decor
We are obsessed with how the tablescape came together and the modern versatility of it! The wooden table and chairs are a beautiful contrast to the modern tent venue, while tying in the rustic style of the ceremony space. AAYS Event Rentals provided the perfect blend of vintage and modern rentals for the tablescape. Some of our favorite details are the delicate blush linens, the marbled charger plates and rose gold flatware. Danielle Schury Photography and Clark Videography did an excellent job capturing each unique element and every shade of pink in this shoot!
The Look
Our model is absolutely stunning in the romantic lace gown from Something Blue Bridal! With plenty of tulle to spare in both the skirt and flowing sleeves of this dress, the bride is the center of attention no matter where she is! We also love the floral lace detailing on the bodice. Her sweeping side braid, which allows the back of the dress to be shown off beautifully, and her warm and natural makeup from Patty McGuire Hair and Makeup Artists are the perfect boho touches to this romantic day. Our groom was kept classic in his elegant black suit but a fun pop of hot pink was tied in thanks to his boutonnière!
The Cake
This jaw-dropping three-tiered cake is perfect for Barbie! The ombre frosting, transitioning from a captivating deep magenta to a delicate baby pink, is an absolute feast for the eyes. Sugar on Top Bake Shop truly outdid themselves by adding in incredible texture, a delightful surprise that sets it apart from many wedding cakes. And the addition of the flowers on the cake helps create harmony with the rest of the shoot!
The Florals
This cover shoot has all the tropical floral details from the bride’s bouquet and head table to the ceremony arch and cake accents! We can't get enough of all the shades of pink that Sugarfield Flowers curated in their stunning arrangements! To achieve the vibrancy they were seeking, they opted to use a plethora of tropical flowers like orchids and anthurium, which give all the florals more texture and shape!
The Stationery
Get ready to swoon over the sensational stationery pieces created by Your Little Details for our vibrant shoot! With a bold pink palette that demands attention, the design radiates a modern charm while the inclusion of floral patterned accents adds a touch of whimsy and femininity. And let's not forget the modern angles incorporated into the suite, lending an edgy and stylish vibe to the ensemble!
