The idea for this shoot came from Brooke at FLI Photo & Video. "I wanted something different than the other styled shoots that I’ve seen in my area," Brooke shares. "Something colorful and fun." The main goal was to create a shoot that was light and romantic with soft rainbows and warm neutrals.
"I chose Mojave East for its unique colors on the outside of the building, and its blank canvas on the inside," Brooke explains. While bringing light and modern touches to the shoot, the venue also has warm vintage details that make it so unique. We love the subdued teal fence that surrounds the ceremony space!
The team was able to incorporate some cool trends in their shoot, along with bringing Brooke's vision to life. From the champagne tower to the balloon design and crystals to accent the tablescape, the team added the right amount of modernity to the shoot. We are obsessed with the crescent moon structures they used for the arbor!
Don't get us started with the dresses for this shoot! The blue dress is so chic with the mutli-layered and mutli-textured design. It perfectly fits into the space! We also think the simple updo and the delicate color in her makeup help show off the dress beautifully. The two white gowns work great in the venue, too. The puffy sleeves on the first bring in a touch of classic drama while the other balances it out with some modern details.
The flowers add play off of the desert theme of the venue has. "I wanted to show that you can use something simple and turn it into a unique piece. For this reason, I chose to use baby’s breath and spray painted it three different colors," Brooke says. They don't take away from the dresses or other details, but the shoot wouldn't be the same without them!
