Quiet elopements were on the minds of Kelle of FlowerSmith Studio and Ching of Design Quintessentials. Wanting to create an elegance that any bride could recreate in her own home, this team developed a gorgeous backyard elopement that’s full of rich details!

This shoot showcases that any private home can be turned into a luxurious wedding venue. “The allure of this home is absolutely clear – private, intimate and lush,” Ching notes. “It fit the style of a flower-filled private family wedding with amazing photo opportunities.”

Wanting to find an overall cohesive feel, the team matched the shoot's florals to the natural blooms found around the cottage. “All were in season at the time and were chosen for the vibrant colors,” Ching explains. “The vibrant colors stood out among the greenery of the landscape, and the bright white of the cottage studio.”

The bride’s semi-formal gown keeps the traditional ceremony vibe going strong while adding in a soft touch of movement. The team thought the gown choice was perfect to match with the lush and intimate tones of the shoot! The use of clean and light tones on the model’s makeup adds to the elegance of her look.
