When Paige and Izak were seniors in high school, they worked the same job at their local supermarket. When Paige told a co-worker that she thought Izak was cute, the co-worker encouraged Paige to send him a message on Instagram. Eight years later, they were engaged and ready to get married! Izak proposed during Paige's holiday break from her job as a teacher. While they were having drinks in a private bubble at a winery, Paige got up for another glass and Izak was down on one knee when she came back!

Despite looking online for wedding dress inspo, Paige still had some trouble once she got to the store. Paige shares, "I had spent a lot of time looking for dress ideas online. I had an idea of exactly what I wanted. Even with that, it took trying on eleven dresses to find the perfect dress! I was struggling to find everything that I wanted in a dress." With the help of the store manager, she was able to find "the one" in the last dress she tried on, and we absolutely agree. The dress she picked is so stunning! We love the Trysh Jaeger Photography was able to capture all the delicate details in this glamorous gown!

When it came to planning, Paige and Izak wanted to choose a date close to their original dating anniversary because they fell in love with the idea of a late October wedding. They luckily found the venue and color scheme very quickly. From there, Paige used Pinterest, Instagram and TikTok to finalize their décor. They settled on a color scheme Paige found on Pinterest that incorporated burnt orange, sage, peach, cream and gold. Without even realizing, Paige had picked one of Izak's favorite colors to be the main color of their wedding day!

Picking vendors was an easy task for Paige and Izak. They trusted not just reviews, but the personalities of all the vendors they ended up going with for their big day. It was important for them to meet one-on-one with the vendors before booking them and to get a feel for what the vendors' personalities were. "When we talked to vendors we could tell people that really wanted to be there and help make our day special," Paige explains.

What We Love

Like many weddings, Paige and Izak's wedding day was a collaborative effort with family and friends. "For the wedding I made all of our signage, my mom and I used the Cricut to cut out all of the letters and lay them out just the way I wanted them. My best friend painted the orange onto them as well," Paige gushes. They also provided guests with newlywed newspapers before the ceremony began, which were a huge hit! Another decision Paige and Izak made for their guests was to have a small cake just for themselves but a wide variety of bite-size desserts for their guests to choose from!

Advice from the Couple

Paige and Izak advise, "Take your time and enjoy being engaged because it goes so fast. Don’t let others tell you how you should plan your wedding because you want to look back and love your ideas not everyone else’s. When it comes to your wedding day, whatever you do don’t forget to enjoy it. Everyone tells you it goes so fast and you never believe them until it happens. Whatever you chose to do will be perfect for you."
