A Sporty Cityscape Engagement: The Engagement of Amber and Lindsey

Amber and Lindsey swiped right on Tinder to find the rest of their lives in happiness. Amber remembers, “I almost canceled our first date after Lindsey asked if the bar we were going to had televisions so that she could watch her fantasy football quarterback. Needless to say, I’m glad I showed up.” While Lindsey proposed in a simple way, Amber enlisted the help of a flash mob to pop the surprise question to her girlfriend. 

This couple knew they wanted to stray from the traditional styles of diamond rings and wanted to do something entirely unique to them. We love those colorful gemstones! The outfits took much more determination, as they wanted to showcase their fun personalities.

Ashley Paige from APaige Photography was a perfect choice for this couple. Amber explains, “We were looking for a photographer that was a bit edgier and artsy — Paige was recommended to us by another photographer and we are thrilled!” This trio created beautiful shots with memories that are sure to last a lifetime!

The rest of their wedding planning has been a breeze! Because this couple wanted to plan the ceremony out themselves, they have been engaged for over a year-and-a-half to give themselves time to plan for the perfect day. They gather with their families every month, open a bottle of wine and host a “wedding meeting” to make sure things are on track. Amber says, “If you asked us both what we wanted for our wedding before we got engaged, I’m sure we would have said ‘a big outdoor party with our friends and family,’ which is essentially what we’re having.”
