The Wedding Story of Abbie and Greg Brumbill

Abbie and Greg met by mere chance one day. Greg was in Kalamazoo, Michigan visiting his sister and Abbie was there to see a friend. It turns out that Abbie’s friend and Greg’s sister were friends and so the pair met. It was later on when Greg decided to pop the question. He says, “We were walking up the dunes as we normally do but when I made it to the top, he was down on one knee!”
 

Since the couple was planning a winter wedding, they had fewer options to choose from, but found their dream venue with Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan. Abbie adds, “Journeyman had the perfect setup for a rustic winter wedding theme. The richness of the wood and awesome lighting won us over.”

Abbie knew there was only one salon where she would shop for her dress and that was Here Comes the Dress in Chesterton, Indiana. Abbie is related to the salon owner and knew that she was sure to find her dress there. She says, “She and her staff did an amazing job–they were so helpful and willing to do anything to help.” Abbie easily found her Sincerity Bridal gown.
 

What we love

Abbie and Greg had a lot of special touches on their big day. Abbie says, “Having my brother play guitar for us at the ceremony was very special to us. Ryne has always played for us at family settings but to have him play for us on the day of our wedding was very cool.”
