Andrew and Lara were childhood friends and also attended the same schools while growing up. However, because Andrew was a few grades higher than Lara, they never really connected. Fate would insist on having its way though because later, Andrew and Lara both attended Ball State where they reconnected. He proposed at the rose garden where the two had their first date.
Wedding planning took off when the couple reserved their venue, Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville, Indiana. "We visited Mustard Seed Gardens and it was love at first sight," says Lara. "I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else." From that point, they relied on Mustard Seed's list of preferred vendors for the remainder of their vendor team.
Lara says one of her favorite parts of the wedding was the fact that they included both traditional and non-traditional elements into their ceremony. They included a customized reading that included excerpts from people that the couple admired; they also incorporated a wine box ceremony that will serve as a forever keepsake.
