After getting the chance to design a style shoot at Venue3Two in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tushona of Tushona Monét Photography wanted to make the space as elaborate as possible. "Veneu3Two is such a luxurious wedding venue, and that’s what I wanted to go for," Tushona gushes. "I wanted to create a shoot that really showcased and catered to the venue."
Wanting to play off the natural elements of the venue—such as the exposed copper pipes that inspired the color theme—Tushona built the style around Venue3Two. Tushona raves, "I wanted to use deep, rich, colors and with the copper and emerald was the perfect touch!"
"My model (Audrey) recently cut her hair and instantly I thought to myself, man, this girl is BOLD," Tushona says. Since Audrey and all the other models were already so stunning, Tushona didn't want to overwhelm their natural beauty with too much makeup. However, she wanted the dresses and suits to show off their personalities. We think these gowns from BIANKA Bridal all look amazing!
This group of wedding professionals was truly a dream team. "I honestly just shared my vision with each vendor and let them create," Tushona admits. Each vendor blew it out of the water! We think this whole shoot fits the extravagant theme while fitting together beautifully!
Speaking of talented vendors, look at this delicious cake created by Flour House Cakes! "The cake was a two-tier cake and the front had a green geo look, outlined with copper stones with small hexagon inspired decor surrounding the cake," Tushona explains. All the desserts go together wonderfully even though they were made by different bakers!
