A Woodland Fairytale in La Porte, Indiana: The Real Wedding of Allison & Storm Zebell

Allison met Storm on her first construction job out of college. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into something more, and Storm popped the question at the same restaurant where they shared their first date! Inspired by Disney princess movies, Allison had a very specific vision for her wedding day. She shares, " Those magical visuals filled my imagination with ideas of elegance and beauty, and I always envisioned my own fairytale moment surrounded by nature." Allison fell in love with Williams Orchard for its stunning natural landscapes, choosing the forest as the perfect setting for her fairytale wedding. The reception space, a beautifully modernized barn with elegant touches, perfectly matched her vision of a sophisticated orchard and winery vibe, while the bridal suite and sliding glass windows added to the venue's magical, dreamlike atmosphere. The couple chose a simple yet meaningful color palette of blush pink and navy blue, reflecting their shared love for these hues. Gold and pearls were added as elegant accents, with a personal touch from Storm gifting Allison her first set of pearls, tying everything together beautifully.

 

What We Love

Allison’s wedding day was filled with magical touches, including horse-drawn carriages for guests and a special bridal carriage for her grand entrance, adding to the fairytale-like atmosphere. Elegant harp music, featuring modern renditions of "Bridgerton" and "Top Gun: Maverick," further enhanced the romantic ambiance! And we especially love all of the whimsical blooms from In Bloom Flowers decorating the ceremony and reception spaces!
