His performance opened the door to a friendship and later, led to a first date. David, meanwhile, had his eye on Marina from the first day she started work. From joining the bowling team to attending a Pilates class, David did everything he could to get a moment with her. Marina says she knew David was the one for her when he agreed to join her on her 14-day trip to Europe—she asked him during their very first lunch together. “I wanted to see how spontaneous he was!” says Marina. “He did not disappoint and booked his trip immediately. We have been inseparable ever since.”

Brooke Tichenor, the planner at savoir faire events, was tasked with pulling together a cover shoot that leaned toward contemporary styles while maintaining a classic and sophisticated feel. The venue was the first component Brooke secured and the boutique hotel set the tone for the remaining details including the autumn-colored shades that were used throughout.
