WeddingDay's 2025 Style Shoot Design Contest

Calling all planners, event designers, photographers, rental companies and wedding connoisseurs alike! WeddingDay is launching our seventh annual Style Shoot Design Contest, sponsored by AAYS Event Rentals! This contest is all about pushing the boundaries of wedding design while celebrating the talent within our community. We invite you to create fresh, new style shoots (with some guidelines!) that will go beyond anything we’ve seen before. Of course, there is some major incentive for you! The winning style shoot (as voted on by the WeddingDay staff) will be published in all 6 of our 2025 fall/winter digital magazines, with a full page print feature appearing in our 2026 annual Look Book. Bonus: All style shoots submitted will be guaranteed a feature on our website!

THE GUIDELINES

• Your style shoot must use the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse. This does not have to be the focal point of your shoot—but it should be incorporated somewhere! 
• Your style shoot must be based on one of the themes listed below. Use total creative range and freedom beyond those details!

1. Embrace the Unexpected - Non-traditional elements, offbeat decor
2. A Moment in Time - Based off a historical event, time period, etc
3. The Art of Weddings - Take inspiration from any type of art medium or style of art

• The majority of the style shoot team should be Midwest wedding vendors (the location of the style shoot can be anywhere!).
• You must upload a questionnaire and vendor form with your submission
• The completed style shoot must be submitted via the form below by 11:59 p.m. on October 1, 2024
• The winning shoot will be revealed in our 2025 fall/winter digital issues and shared in the 2026 print Look Book!
