The Wedding Story of Emily and Chris Ahlfeld

Even though Emily and Chris share the same alma mater (go Hoosiers!), they didn’t meet until later, thanks to online dating. Emily says, “Chris and I met on Tinder of all places. We went to Indiana University for the same four years and had lots of mutual friends, but it took a dating app for us to finally meet."

Being huge fans of Indiana University and, because they were engaged on the fourth of July, Emily and Chris knew they wanted navy and maroon to be their colors. They also fell in love with the Indianapolis Public Library, which more than suited Emily (a teacher by profession). Emily says, “Gina Howald (ImaGINAtion, LLC) was super helpful in helping me plan the timeline and vision for my day. She helped me plan out each minute of the day as well as putting together stunning florals and décor."
