Think Outside the Box with this Romantically Edgy Ohio Elopement Style Shoot

Run, don’t walk, to this dreamy boho elopement style shoot! Windi of Run to an Elopement wanted to encourage couples to think outside the box when it comes to their elopements. Bringing together an all-star team in the Hocking Hills region, this gorgeously edgy style shoot will have you ready to skip off into the sunset!

This 65-acre venue offered the team a lot of space with warm and natural vibes. Windi says, “The Hocking Hills is a fall fairytale of colorful leaves, winding woodland trails and cozy, luxurious cabin accommodations. Cedar Grove provides a clean, light wooden backdrop that embodies the modern rustic style and can be paired with almost any decor.” Other highlights include an onsite fire pit and hiking trails, perfect for any naturally rustic wedding. 

This bride brings an edge that we can’t help but adore! Windi says that the headpieces for this shoot were specially designed for her hair. The bride’s two-piece outfit brings in a modern look that ties into the uniqueness of the shoot. “We wanted something that fit our model well and showcased her natural beauty,” Windi notes. “We were looking for something simple, yet elegant with a whimsy of nontraditional.” 

We love how these locally sourced blooms add a layer of texture and romance to these tables. And let’s stop and drool over that cake! This striking raspberry-vanilla confection adds the perfect touch of sweet to an otherwise alternative vibe. 

Windi explains that this shoot didn’t want to touch on any trends to keep it unique. “Not everyone is into the current trends,” she admits. “We wanted to break the mold and inspire vibrant rich colors.”
