Love is in Your Local Neighborhood: The Engagement of Kari and Peter

Kari and Peter were student athletes at their college, so they were introduced to each other by their teammates. They took their relationship to the next level when they bought a brand new house, and Peter proposed in the kitchen!

The pair researched diamond cuts and checked out a few different styles, but Peter bought Kari’s ring by himself. She gushes, “I love it because the diamond’s cut is amazing and very eye-catching. I’ve had people literally stop me while shopping to tell me how beautiful my ring is because it’s always so brilliant.”

This pair wanted both a formal and casual outfit for their photo session. “We chose the more formal outfit from things we liked to wear to cocktail parties,” Kari notes. “The more casual outfit was something we’d typically wear to work.” Despite the hot weather, this couple looks completely cool and glamorous in this local Indianapolis neighborhood!

Kari and Peter are currently fifteen months into their engagement, giving them plenty of time to plan out the details of their big day. “Once you make those big decisions, everything else starts to fall into place,” Kari adds. “We’re so excited for our wedding day to come!”
