If Love Were Like Water: A Beachy South Haven, Michigan Style Shoot

Pulling inspiration from the poem “If Love Were Like Water” by Charles Wiles, Jeannene of Jeannene Lillie Events wanted to create a style shoot with details that looked like flowing water. South Haven was the perfect spot to host the style shoot thanks to the city being located along the banks of Lake Michigan. The dress is very free flowing and whimsical—perfect for a lakeside wedding! We also love how the florals add a mix of green to the heavy blue and white color scheme. Another stunning touch is that beautiful cake that looks like it's reflecting the water behind it!

 

What We Love

Burns Special Events helped provide some of the perfect décor for this shoot! The contrast of the blue napkins and white plates against the gray and white table is the perfect color scheme for this beachy celebration. We also love the way the linens and organic edge of the stationery mimic waves!
